Our professionals have experience of many years of ocean freight handling. We offer FCL and LCL freight services. LCL ocean freight is really efficient when customer do not have cargo for full container. Customer is paying only for the freight of its own shipment. Transit time for LCL is the same as for FCL container. If shipment needs to be picked up and export handling must be done for account of consignee, we can offer this service thru our wide agent network.
Multimodal transport (also known as combined transport) is the transportation of goods under a single contract, but performed with at least two different means of transport (source Wikipedia)
This type of transportation is really effective when one customer have shipments in different locations and all of them must be delivered to one consolidation dock, such as Optima’s warehouse and trucked in one consignment to a final consignee. This service is popular in deliveries with final consignee located in Russia.
Our terminal, with area of 1500 sq.m., located in the region of international airport “Helsinki-Vantaa”. The location was carefully chosen so that air cargo handling should be as efficient as possible; still, we can also handle shipments received by other modes of transport.
